Night View
TomTom GO has a special low-glare night display setting. This setting provides colour schemes that are significantly easier for the eye to adjust to from the dark conditions of night driving. You can select between different colour styles suitable for night-time driving depending on your personal preferences.
Route Recalculation
Never be late again with the TomTom GO roadblock feature. This allows instant re-routing around any unexpected obstacles you encounter on your trip. You can avoid traffic congestion, roadwork, accidents or anything that slows you down. And if there is a road you particularly dislike travelling along, you can block that too!
2D Map view
TomTom GO features the very latest digital maps of the USA from Tele Atlas and are viewable in a 2D or 3D manner. These maps give you comprehensive coverage of America. However, despite containing more information than ever, they don’t take up more memory thanks to the latest memory-saving techniques.
Simple touch-screen operation
TomTom GO has an intuitive approach to entering addresses. Usually you only need to type a few characters of the city or street name and TomTom GO will pull up the right option from which to choose. You can specify the house number on the street. Or select a nearby street crossing if you don’t know the number.

• (1) TomTom GO itself. Its main features are a touch-sensitive LCD screen, a power (On/Off) button, a release button (for removing TomTom GO from its cradle) and a Secure Digital (SD) memory card slot.
• A (2) carry case, for storing TomTom GO when it's not in your vehicle.
• An ( 3) AC adapter, included for you to charge and work with TomTom GO even when it's not in your vehicle. Note that this comes with several international pin adapters, for use anywhere in the world. When you use the adaptor, please make sure it is cooled by placing it in a ventilated area.
• An (4) SD card, containing map data.
• An (5) installation poster, showing how to assemble the cradle, how to fix it to your windscreen and how to insert TomTom GO.
• An (6) installation CD, containing PC connection software and extra maps.
• The component parts of a suction-mount (7/8) cradle, for attaching to your windscreen.
• A (9) DC power lead, with 12-24V cigarette lighter adapter which can also be used in trucks. This is the normal way of providing power to TomTom GO when it's in your vehicle.
• A (10) USB data cable for connecting TomTom GO to a Windows PC.
